KARIM
My Story
Karim is a big, handsome male Arabian Mau, estimated to be around 1½ years old.
He was found on the streets alongside his sister, Malissa, after their mother sadly died. Suddenly left to fend for themselves, the pair were incredibly vulnerable and thankfully caught the attention of a rescuer who was able to bring them to safety.
Karim went into foster care, where he was given the chance to settle into life away from the streets. Despite his rescuer's best efforts, a forever home never came, so he was eventually sent to us for another chance at finding his family.
He's now swapped surviving on the streets for the important business of finding someone to cuddle!
Likes & Dislikes
Karim is a big, chunky Arabian Mau with an equally enormous heart.
Don't let his size fool you he is an absolute softie! Karim loves human attention and cuddles, and when he's happy you'll certainly know about it thanks to his huge purr.
He's generally good with other cats, although he can be a little wary of larger, confident male cats. After his experiences on the streets, he prefers companions who aren't going to intimidate him.
Give him somewhere comfortable, plenty of affection and humans to fuss over him, and Karim is a very happy boy.
Ideal Home
Karim would suit a loving home where he can enjoy plenty of affection and finally feel completely secure.
His ideal home could include:
- ❤️ Plenty of cuddles and human companionship
- ❤️ Children who will enjoy his affectionate nature
- ❤️ Other friendly cats, although introductions to larger male cats should be taken slowly
- ❤️ A cat-friendly dog with appropriate introductions
- ❤️ Someone who appreciates a big boy with an even bigger purr!
Karim may look like a big tough Mau, but underneath he's a giant cuddle bug.
After losing his mum and waiting so long for a family, he's ready to find somewhere he can finally put his paws up, turn on that enormous purr and call home. ❤️
