Wilson is a handsome male Arabian Mau who travelled to the UK from the UAE in June 2026, hoping for the fresh start he'd waited years to find.
His rescuers first met Wilson over two years ago, when he appeared at one of their feeding stations looking for food, water and somewhere safe to rest. Like so many rescue organisations, they were completely overwhelmed and had no foster spaces available, so although they couldn't bring him indoors, they made sure he never went hungry.
For the next two years, Wilson survived life on the streets. His rescuer TNR'd (Trap, Neuter and Return) him and continued to care for him every day, always hoping that a foster space would become available. Sadly, it never did.
After years of surviving alone, the decision was made to bring Wilson to the UK, giving him the best possible chance of finally finding the loving home he has always deserved.

Wilson has spent most of his life surviving on the streets, so everything about indoor life is completely new to him.
After years of having to compete for food, water and safety, it's understandable that he can be a little nervous and easily startled. Loud noises aren't his favourite, and he appreciates a calm environment where he can slowly learn that he no longer has to worry about where his next meal is coming from.
Underneath his cautious exterior is a sweet boy who absolutely loves human affection. Once he trusts you, he enjoys cuddles and is beginning to discover just how wonderful a safe home can be.
He's also a big fan of catnip, which quickly brings out his playful side and helps him relax.
Wilson is what rescuers often call a "street fighter" not because he's aggressive, but because he's had to overcome so much just to survive. Now, it's finally time for him to simply be someone's pet.

Wilson is looking for a patient family who will allow him to settle at his own pace and show him that life can be peaceful.
His ideal home would have:
Wilson has spent years wondering where his next meal would come from and whether he'd make it through another day. He doesn't need a perfect home he just needs a kind one. With patience, understanding and love, Wilson has every chance of leaving his life on the streets behind and finally discovering what it feels like to be truly safe.
