Penny is a female Arabian Mau with an estimated date of birth of 4th March 2025.
After waiting for a family in the UAE, Penny travelled to the UK on 30th August 2025 to begin her search for a forever home. She is currently living in foster in Colchester, where she's enjoying home life while we continue to support her with her ongoing medical care.
Despite everything she's been through, Penny remains one of the sweetest, most affectionate little cats you'll ever meet.

Penny is a tiny girl with the heart of a kitten.
She absolutely adores people and will often start purring the moment you pick her up or give her a cuddle. Being close to her humans is her favourite place to be, and she'll happily spend hours curled up beside you.
Penny has a wonderfully gentle, easy-going personality and settles into most situations with ease. Whether she's playing, exploring or simply snoozing on your lap, she brings a calm and loving presence wherever she goes.
Penny has been diagnosed with Chronic Rhinitis, a condition that causes permanent inflammation within her nasal passages. This means she is often a little congested and can have a runny nose. While there isn't a cure, we're currently trialling different medications to see if we can make her more comfortable and reduce her symptoms.
This doesn't stop Penny from enjoying life, but we do want any potential adopters to understand her condition and be prepared for the extra care she may need throughout her life.

Penny is looking for a loving family who will see beyond her medical condition and simply love her for the wonderful little cat she is.
Her ideal home would have:
Penny may have Chronic Rhinitis, but she has an even bigger supply of love to give. She doesn't let her condition define her instead, she spends her days purring, cuddling and reminding everyone she meets that special cats sometimes just need a little extra understanding.
